I’m back on
Blogger! Some of you might’ve noticed that I deleted the last post on my blog.
In which I talked about deleting or closing it. I am back on Blogger,
because it is part of my studies. This means that from now on I’ll have two
blogs. Blogger will be the place where I write about topics that
are given by our teachers. I will also make some of my old posts visible again
(Probably the ones about concerts/music and Finland). On my WordPress blog I
will continue to write about whatever I feel like sharing.

Austria won the ESC :D
| (c)Sander Hesterman (EBU) (eurovision.tv) |
I think it's pretty cool
that Austria won the ESC (Eurovision Song contest) 2014! ... I loved the
message about tolerance, Conchita Wurst carried out, :)
To be honest I didn't
expect her to win... I said to my mum: “Well she's going to be noticed but is
that enough?” (That was when I didn't know the song. I don't like checking out
the songs before, because it is more of a surprise if you don't listen to them
until the actual show!)...
Austria even got points from
countries which I didn't expect to give any points at all!
Did you know that Austria
participated in the ESC about 47 times and only won this show 1x before this
year's show? Last time Austria won was back in 1966! The winning song in 1966
was "Merci Chérie" by Udo Jürgens
The first time Austria
participated in the ESC was in 1957, the song was "Wohin, kleines Pony" by Bob
Martin.
For me Conchita
Wurst's song "Rise Like a Phoenix" feels like it could be the
soundtrack for a Bond movie... I mean it's pretty awesome ;)

XTRAVAGANZA staging Leigh Bowery
First things first,
something you might want to know: "Who was Leigh Bowery and what was he
famous for?"..
He was an Australian performance artist, club promoter, actor, pop star, model and fashion designer, who was living in London.
If you want to know more there's a documentary on YouTube called "The Legend of Leigh Bowery"
The exhibition showed some of his dressed and many, many clips with interviews, music videos and more. They also displayed pictures and some of his accessories. I really liked it, it was really interesting!
Boy George's song "Ich bin Kunst (I am art)" (which I really like!) is a song about Leigh Bowery
Leigh also made some music himself: Raw Sewage - Walk this way (warning: this video shows nudity)

The Rasmus live@ppc in Graz
What an amazing show!
The support band was "The Dirty Youth", I didn't know that band before. They're from the UK. Dirty Youth was a good support. They weren't bad at all, they showed a lot of power and the audience enjoyed their show!
I made a few pictures and videos of their performance (pictures are at the bottom of the post)
Videos of The Dirty Youth:
Requiem of the drunk
Fight
The Rasmus rocked the stage as well :). It was my first The Rasmus concert ever and I can only say that I would go to their concert again! They played some old songs and some new songs. I wish I could've taken more videos, but my arm screamed "no” ;), holding up the camera all the time can be quite exhausting for your arm!
Videos of The Rasmus
First Day of my Life
Ghost of Love
Time to Burn
Sail Away (acoustic)
In my Life
F-F-F-Falling
