Särkänniemi

I was at the amusement park in Tampere called Särkänniemi! Angry Birds fans might know that there is an Angry Birds Land in this park. It looks so nice, but unfortunately those rides are aimed at little kids. I was there with a friend, we had such a great time! We took the ticket for the whole day and this means that you can take every ride as often as you want to. You also can go to the dolphinarium, planetarium, arts museum and the observation tower Näsineula, with only one ticket!

I didn’t take my camera along, because I was afraid to break it. Which is why the quality of the pictures isn’t so great, it’s only cell phone quality!

White Flame, Lovex & Mushaboom

Today Kukkaisviikot started in Tampere. This means that there are some free concerts! Kukkaisviikot take place every year. This is something I really like about Finland – you can go to free concerts, and even see very famous bands for free!

First there were some bananas on stage. Afterwards White Flame was playing and right after them it was LOVEX’s turn. I really liked the show! After LOVEX’s gig, I took a bus (to save time) to O’connells, where Mushaboom were playing. I made it in time (but only because the band always stars late!)

Tammerfest 2012

This time Tammerfest was bigger than ever! There were so many concerts…

I went to see Damian Cullen Band at Laikunlava. The band, which played after Damien Cullen Band was called “?Verity”. They were okay, but it’s been not really my cup of tea. Afterwards I went to Telakka to see The Voodo Nights. During the Voodoo Nights gig, I realized that Snack (Nakki) from Negative was sitting at the table net to mine… what a coincidence!
